Valve body shift correction kit (KAXOD) for Ford AXODE and AX4S transmissions, made in the USA by Superior Transmission Parts. It helps with delayed shifts, flares on 3-2 downshifts, inadequate lube oil, converter chatter, soft or sloppy upshifts, downshift bump and pressure rise problems.

What the kit does
Shims are supplied to fine tune end clearance, which helps maintain proper lube and reduce wear.
The problem converter relief valves in the valve body are replaced with a more efficient ball and spring setup. New Vinton check balls for the pump body, which take the harshest abuse, are also supplied in the KAXOD-E kit.
A new case hardened steel boost valve and sleeve with a Sure Seal O-ring replaces the OE valve and sleeve, which is prone to wear and causes loss of boost pressure. The valve is supplied in this package.
