Reid Racing tailshaft housing for both the Reid Superglide and stock GM Powerglide transmissions. It is 5 times stronger than stock yet weighs 4-1/2 pounds, and it bolts in with the same length and crossmember mounting flange as stock.

About this tailhousing
The housing comes completely pre-assembled with a double lip seal and a hardware kit for bolting it on. A relocated vent stops trans fluid from spraying out of the breather.
It is an exact stock tailhousing replacement using a Teflon-coated driveshaft yoke bushing, and a stock Powerglide-type yoke can be used.
Reid instruction sheets cover the bushing style (PGH1B), roller bearing style (PGH1R), Turbo 400 bushing style (PGH2B) and Turbo 400 roller bearing style (PGH2R).
