TCS 6L90E intermediate shaft combined with a PowerGlide clutch hub, for the 6L rebuilder who wants more clutch apply surface in the 4-5-6 intermediate assembly.

Hub and shaft

Hub: 45 external teeth, 90 lubrication holes for clutch cooling, and billet 4140 steel with a nitride coating for wear resistance.

Shaft: built to replace the OEM shaft, which fails at a high rate with high horsepower, superchargers and turbos. The hub dampener is eliminated and hub-to-shaft contact area is increased by 300%. The shaft is 300M alloy steel, heat treated for strength and durability. It includes a heavy-duty Torrington bearing with double the roller count of the OEM bearing, and the design keeps the locating groove for the OEM bearing.
