6L80E Intermediate Shaft w/ PowerGlide Clutch Hub Heavy Duty

TCS heavy-duty 6L80E intermediate shaft combined with a Powerglide clutch hub, for 6L rebuilds that need more clutch apply surface on the 4-5-6 intermediate assembly. The shaft answers the high failure rate of the OEM shaft when high horsepower, superchargers and turbos are used.

Construction

Hub: 45 external teeth for a Powerglide clutch stack and 90 lubrication holes for clutch cooling. It is billet 4140 steel with a nitride coating for wear resistance.

Shaft: 300M alloy steel, heat treated for strength and durability. The hub dampener is eliminated and the contact area between hub and shaft is increased by 300%. A heavy-duty Torrington bearing has double the roller count of the OEM bearing, and the shaft keeps the locating groove for the OEM bearing.
