TransGo cooler bypass delete kit for a wide range of Ford transmissions and the Chrysler/Dodge 62TE. It eliminates the thermostat so the cooler has flow at all times, regardless of fluid temperature.

How it works

The bypass plug is used by itself or together with the other components in the kit, depending on the application. Detailed instructions cover all fitment locations and positions.

With the thermostatic assembly removed, the kit helps prevent overheating and lowers transmission fluid temperature. You can also check the fluid level accurately right after installation, without waiting for a warm-up cycle.
