What it fixes
It addresses won't move, pump noise, no lock-up hot, and lock-up slip and shudder. These lock-up problems are usually caused by the valve body, not the converter.
The kit contains a no noise pump flow control valve assembly, an upgraded steel TCC/lock-up valve assembly and a pump alignment tool. Two EPC relief assemblies protect the unit from excessive pressure, and two high temp, low shrink direct clutch rings last longer. Replacement springs located throughout the valve body address no or slow reverse and loss of or non-operation of various forward gear ranges.
