TransGo SK8HP (SK®8HP) SHIFT KIT® Valve Body Repair Kit for the most frequent ZF 8HP GEN1 and Chrysler 845RE transmission failures and shift complaints. It fits GEN1 ZF8HP45, ZF8HP55, ZF8HP70, ZF8HP90 and Chrysler 845RE (845RFE) units.

What it fixes
Corrects, prevents or reduces TCC codes and TCC lining failures, harsh, soft and erratic shifts, and gear ratio and solenoid performance codes.
The oversized pressure reducing (AFL) valve installs with tool kit #ZF8-AFL-TK. The optional oversized converter pressure regulator valve installs with the optional tool kit #ZF8-TCREG-TK, which is only for units whose converter pressure regulator bore shows wear. So far about half of those bores show no significant wear and keep the standard valve.

REQUIRED TOOL KITS
ZF8-AFL-TK This tool kit is required for installing the oversized pressure reducing (AFL) valve included in the SK®8HP SHIFT KIT® Valve Body Repair Kit
At this time, half of the bores we’ve seen do not show signs of significant wear and do not require the oversize valve.
This tool kit is designed only for those units that do exhibit wear.
