Superior TransLab valve body upgrade kit for Honda and Acura 5-speed, 4-cylinder transmissions of the non-CPC valve type (1.5L, 1.8L, 2.0L and 2.4L engines).
The kit gives reliable converter charge in all ranges, with increased cooler flow and an improved lube system for longer converter life. Shifts are shorter and firmer, with more clutch capacity and better engagement control.

About these transmissions
The BCLA-style light duty transmission replaced the earlier 2-shaft BMXA (Civic) and 3-shaft BAXA (Accord) units in later Civic and Accord models, and is also used in 4-cylinder models such as the Fit, Element and CR-V. It was designed as a 5-speed and was also back-engineered to a 4-speed for some models. Both the 4 and 5 speed versions have 2WD and AWD versions.
The kit corrects or prevents lockup codes and premature clutch burnout, lockup clutch drag in gear at idle, long delayed or double-bump reverse to drive engagement when hot, light to mid throttle 1-2 shudder, 1-2 slide bump, and converter/case bearing walk.
