Superior TransLab valve body upgrade kit for Honda and Acura 5-speed, 6-cylinder transmissions, including the MDKA.
The kit gives reliable converter charge in all ranges, with increased cooler flow and an improved lube system for longer converter life. Shifts are shorter and firmer, with more clutch capacity and better engagement control.

Which kit for which unit
2003-2005 BVGA/PVGA large case units use the STL-H05-388 kit. 2006-UP Pilot BVGA/PVGA 3.5L V6 units (large case with large gears) use the STL-H05-MDKA kit. 2004-2006 BDGA units use the STL-H05-388 kit, and 2007-2008 BDGA units use the STL-H05-MDKA kit.
In short, a 4-shaft 5-speed with a 1.653 in hub takes the STL-H05-MDKA.
The kit corrects or prevents lockup codes and premature clutch burnout, torque converter clutch slip or shudder at low RPM in 3rd gear below 36 MPH, long delayed or double-bump reverse to drive engagement when hot, light to mid throttle 1-2 shudder, 1-2 slide bump, erratic slip or bump shifts from sticking CPC valves and leaking plugs, and converter/case bearing walk.
