Superior STL006 solenoid Sure-Cool upgrade kit for GM 4T40E and 4T45E transmissions, made in the USA. It corrects the most common failure in these units: the 1-2 solenoid.
Why it fails
Stop and go driving spends most of its time in 1st or 4th gear and passes through 2nd and 3rd very quickly when accelerating from a stop. The 1-2 solenoid is on typically 90-95% of the time with no cooling, so one long hot trip is all it takes to melt it down. The STL006 kit corrects that defect.

Hope it works good, btw doesn't have a brill bit of any in the bag? Only tube and bracket. Oh well it could have been worse I got my solenoid kit in the same day or two before your box and the kit that I got had a completely smoked solenoid in it!! I mean It had gotten so hot that the plastic on the top of it and melted they had to have seen that. So you leaving out a little drill bit wasn't the worst thing that could have happened! Sorry had to vent thank you Dusty,
