What it does
Sure-Cool gives full-time cooler flow with a much lower average fluid temperature, and builds a high-pressure safety bypass into the lube circuit. Fluid level can be checked accurately right away without a warm-up, which saves technicians about 45 minutes per unit of checking and rechecking.
The PR valve (patent pending) stabilizes regulation and eliminates 20-40 PSI needle bounce on the gauge. Shorter valve cycling reduces bore wear, and the Drop-in and GO design uses the unworn part of the bore, so no reaming is needed. Modified TC displacement gives 2x TC and cooler flow even at high PSI demand, and the recalibrated TC limit and TCC control improve lockup and increase tow-haul capacity.
Universal EPC relief works with any size PR valve, prevents runaway line pressure and case breakage, and combats uncontrolled boost from pump cross-leaks.
For a complete 5R110W Simple Solution, add part number STL008 & STL5R110W internal upgrade kit. An oversized PR valve version, STL-5R110W-OS, is made for stator bodies whose PR valve bore has already been reamed.
