Ford AODE 4R70W Transmission Upgraded Pressure Regulator Valve Kit by Superior

Product Description

Pressure regulator valve for Ford AODE and 4R70W transmissions, all years from 1992 to 2005. The OE valve wears the end of its valve land and the edge of the valve body bore, which causes a loss of line pressure and boost response.

How it works

This valve extends the land where the wear occurs and moves the working area into the part of the valve body bore that has not worn. The extended land also gives the valve more stability to help prevent future wear.
