Build your own NP231 rebuild kit: choose the parts that match the transmission on your bench and leave out what you don't need. This builder has 9 option groups and 16 choices, all optional, so the kit holds only what you pick.

- Choose Your Overhaul Kit: BK231J Master bearing & seal kit - 1994-2006 Jeep XJ/ZJ/YJ/TJ (narrow 16mm input bearing marked 6010-N) - most popular; BK231 Master bearing & seal kit - 1987-early 1994 Jeep with WIDE 24mm input bearing (marked BD50-8); TSK231J Reseal only: gasket & seal kit - 1994+ Jeep (no bearings); TSK231 Reseal only: gasket & seal kit - 1987-1994 Jeep (early, 24mm-bearing cases) (no bearings); TSK231JA Reseal only: gasket & seal kit - 2002-2007 Liberty (no bearings)
- Add Oil pump / pump rub repair: 351500 Oil pump, 38-spline (NP231/233/241/242/243) - replace any pump that has rubbed the rear case
- Add Mode synchro: 351701K Mode synchro assembly 48T with springs & keys - 1987-1996 Jeep ONLY; not listed for 1997-2006 TJ or Liberty; 351701 Mode synchro blocker ring (48T)
- Add Shift forks & pads: 352849A Range fork, aluminum, cast C-17833
- Add Range hub: 351645K Range hub (NP231/NP241C/NP241D)
- Add Input gear: 371670B Input shaft 23-spline, 5.125in OAL, for EARLY WIDE-bearing (24mm BD50-8) cases with early wide-tooth profile (~1987-1993) ONLY - not for 21-spline or 1994+ Jeep cases; match spline count, length and tooth profile to old shaft
- Add Individual bearings & washers: 351240A Input bearing 50x80x16mm (narrow, 6010 type); 351268A Rear output shaft bearing 35x72x17mm; 411215 Planetary thrust washer (2 tabs)
