Build your own rebuild kit for the NP205 transfer case. Two Ford versions, not interchangeable for the kit: DIRECT (married) mount 1973-79 bolted to the C6/NP435/T18/T19 -> BK205FDM; REMOTE (divorced) mount with a short driveshaft between trans and case, 1970-77 -> BK205RDF. Pick the overhaul kit that matches your case, then add only the parts you need.
Build your own NP205 rebuild kit: choose the parts that match the transmission on your bench and leave out what you don't need. This builder has 4 option groups and 7 choices, all optional, so the kit holds only what you pick.
What you can choose
- Choose Your Overhaul Kit: BK205FDM Master bearing/gasket/seal kit - Ford DIRECT (married) mount 1973-79
- Add Range / mode slider & fork: 311641 Range/mode slider (sliding clutch) - fits all NP205 (grinding / jumping out of 4-Low); 311841 Range/mode shift fork - fits 1969+ Ford, GM, Dodge
- Add Output shafts: 311678 Front output shaft, 32-spline - all 1969+ NP205; 311678-1 Rear output shaft, 32-spline, bolt-on yoke type (no pocket bearing)
- Add Extra seals & gaskets NOT in the master kit: 311073 Shift shaft (rail) seal; 311304A Adapter-to-case gasket, LARGE hole (3.843" ID) - NOT in any BK205 kit; REQUIRED if your adapter has the large bore (measure: small = 3.425")
