How it works
The high-carbon steel rings are heat treated and annealed, which makes them stronger than the original equipment rings made from cast iron or sintered metal and removes the risk of breakage and the pump damage that follows.
A reduced inner diameter allows a wider, more durable ring. This improves pump efficiency and stability at all RPMs and raises line pressure at hot idle, reducing the likelihood of clutch failure.
The kit also includes a pressure relief spring. A broken pressure relief spring is a common, often overlooked cause of low or no line pressure.
Corrects, prevents or reduces pump breakage and low line or no line pressure.
