TransGo RFE-ACMPST-KIT billet accumulator piston kit for all 604, 606, 40, 41TE, 42LE, 62TE, 42RLE, 45RFE, 545RFE, 65RFE, 66RFE and 68RFE transmissions. The drop-in billet pistons are dual-sealing and easy to install, with no time consuming special installation process or tooling.
The kit has 5 pistons. The 62TE uses 6, and a single piston is available as Sonnax 44894-01K.

How it works
Two sealing rings double the sealing capacity over OE. The added center ring seals in a previously unused area of the bore, so a valve body or case damaged by side-loading of the OE accumulator piston can be reused.
The third ring, combined with a shallower groove in the piston, acts as a guide that prevents side-loading damage. The pistons are billet aluminum to avoid cracking.
