    Adapt-A-Case dual-purpose spanner socket for Toyota U140 and U240 series transmissions, used in the Lexus RX300, Toyota Rav 4 and Toyota Camry. It fits the large 9-notch spanner nut that retains the drive sprocket to the output planet, so the nut can be torqued with a torque wrench.

    About this tool

    Toyota specifies 207 lb-ft for the drive sprocket nut, which is nearly impossible to reach by feel. The socket also removes the nut retaining the underdrive planet, park gear and pinion, which is also tightened to 207 ft-lb.

    Notes

    Toyota engineers require this nut to be tightened to exactly 207 LBS-FT.
