About this fluid
Idemitsu ATF formulas are designed for specific Asian vehicle transmissions, and each differs in viscosity, oxidation prevention, friction durability, aeration control and wear protection. Each formula has been evaluated and approved for material compatibility with the internal parts it touches. Idemitsu ATF and CVT fluids are factory-fill quality, engineered for the requirements of Japanese brands.
The formula matches OEM friction materials and viscosity requirements. It gives anti-shudder durability, oxidation stability and deposit control, smoother shifting and higher torque capacity for high-energy clutch engagements. Precise friction allows controlled slipping of the torque converter lockup clutch for improved fuel economy.
