    Adapt-A-Case variator opener for the Subaru Gen 2 CVT. Opening the variator takes a unique spreader, and this tool frees the drive belt for removal and installation.

    How to remove and install the drive belt

    1) Insert the plate. 2) Line up the bolt holes in the plate with the bolt holes in the case. 3) Set up each bolt with the heavy washer at the plate side and the standard washer and nut below the case. 4) Tighten evenly by hand, back and forth, to release tension on the belt.
