TransGo JF015E-PISTON HD upper primary pulley billet piston for 2007 and newer Nissan, Mitsubishi and Suzuki vehicles with the Jatco JF015E (RE0F11A) CVT. It fixes the slipping or surging complaints this transmission is known for, which can damage the push belt and leave the vehicle with no movement.

Why it fails
The OE piston is press fit inside the primary pulley sheave and is known to come loose or separate from the pulley. Its center has an interference fit to the pulley and forms a hydraulic seal for belt clamping pressure. Once that fit is lost, belt clamping pressure drops, the pulleys can no longer clamp the belt with the required force, and the unit slips or surges.
The TransGo CNC machined billet steel piston resists deformation and wear far better than the soft OE piston. Its inside diameter is smaller than the original, for a greater interference fit on the pulley. It fixes pulley pressure loss and belt slip without any special tools. A 2-1/4” socket works well for pressing the new piston onto the primary pulley.
Corrects, prevents or reduces: pressure loss at the pulley, low pressure codes, slipping belt, damaged belt, damaged sheaves, and metal contamination from the piston spinning on the pulley.

This billet piston MUST BE PRESS-FIT, or it will leak.
