GM 700R4 Shift Correction Package by Superior (1982-UP)

Product Description

Shift correction kit for the GM 700R4. It contains an anti-stick throttle spring and deals with weak 3-4 clutch problems by making the feed to the clutch more direct. Throttle valve travel is changed to stop slipping on very light acceleration, 3-2 downshift timing is corrected, and overall apply pressure and oil flow are increased.

The kit addresses inadequate pressure rise, burned clutches and bands, erratic shift points, soft or bump upshifts, bump on coast downshifts, 2nd and 3rd flare-up and part throttle searching between 4th and 3rd. It also raises lockup speed.
