Shift correction kit with a new boost valve for the Ford E4OD and 4R100, made in the USA by Superior Transmission Parts. One KE4OD-V kit covers regular, heavy duty and diesel applications. It makes the extensive pump modifications needed to avoid pump failure and cleans up shift slippage, a real concern in this transmission.
How it works
A metal drain back valve replaces the OE plastic valve, which can melt and cut off lube to the overdrive planets, causing failure. The new boost valve replaces the worn OE valve.
The kit corrects or addresses converter shudder, converter burn-up, reverse problems, weak shifts, stack shifts, lube problems and front seal blow-out.
