Fits: AODE / 4R70W
Shift correction package with a new heavy duty boost valve for Ford AODE and 4R70W transmissions, made in the USA by Superior Transmission Parts. One kit covers both units, with regular and heavy duty applications. It was largely developed through field testing on police vehicles, where these units often came back with failures.
How it works
The kit includes a Spiral Plus ring set that replaces the stock snap ring, which often slings off. This "New Millennium" two-piece design teams a spiral ring with a G-lock ring and withstood dynamometer testing at over 16,000 RPM without failing. The new HD boost valve replaces the worn OE valve.
It addresses soft, sloppy 1-2 and 3-4 shifts, inadequate lube, overdrive band failure, 3rd clutch failure, 2nd roller clutch failure and converter shudder.

easy intall shifts great
Installed this kit in a 2005 Expedition. Was super easy to install instructions were easy to follow. Car shifts great. No hard shifting. I highly recommend using a micrometer to measure drill bits before starting to install Kit. Drill bit sizes are not labeled in the instructions it just says what size to use at each step.
