    Fits: AODE / 4R70W / 4R70E / 4R75E / 4R75W

    Billet aluminum 2-3 accumulator piston for Ford AODE, 4R70W, 4R70E, 4R75E and 4R75W automatic transmissions. This late-type "Shorty Style" piston with a 4 ring seal design replaces the OE-style piston, a common trouble point in these units.

    Why upgrade

    It ends the delamination problems of OE-type bonded pistons, and its seals also seal a slightly worn case bore, which can save a case from costly reaming. It fits all Ford 4R70 and 4R75 units and retrofits back to AODE and AOD transmissions.

      This is by far superior to the stock AOD accumulator. It has rubber and a composite seal on each end. Should work beautifully.
