Spiral "Plus" ring kit by Superior Transmission Parts (K010) for Ford AOD, AODE and 4R70W transmissions. It stops the stock snap ring from coming off the intermediate sprag retainer, which causes sprag failure. Packed in three-packs, with parts for three transmissions.

How it works
The two-piece set pairs a spiral ring with a G-Lock ring, which greatly increases the holding capacity of the retaining rings, and it is designed not to fly off the intermediate sprag even at high RPM. Superior has tested the set on a dynamometer to over 16,000 RPM. It is the same ring kit included in the Superior AOD-E Shift Correction Package, and it also services the Ford diode sprag.
