Product Description

Shift correction kit with a new boost valve for the Ford A4LD. It deals with late shifts, weak shifts, delayed reverse, 3rd clutch failure and 2-3 and 4-3 flare, increases lube and offers shift feel options. The new boost valve replaces the worn OE valve.

What's in the kit

It includes 20 stress-relieved return springs for the reverse high clutch drum, where the originals are often found flattened by heat, and a governor anti-stick spring. The stock aluminum modulator valve is replaced by a special Superior steel valve with an added cleaning groove to deal with the very common sticking problem.
