Fits: 4 through 10 speed automatic cases with service dowel pin bosses
Extra large heavy duty holding fixture from Superior Machine and Fabrication, built to carry the extra weight of 4 through 10 speed automatic transmissions. It fits most common OEM GM, Ford, Chrysler, European, import and Mercedes-Benz 722 cases, and aftermarket cases, that have service dowel pin hole bosses.
The fixture rotates 360° and the swivel base locks with a quick pin in 4 positions (vertical or horizontal). It is designed for use with the standard bench mount fixture, SMAF-020.

Construction
Double adjustable anchor pins move side to side to keep the case centered under the top clamping screw, and can be adjusted for extra clearance around accumulator sumps or other features cast into the case near the service pin bosses.
The heavy duty fabricated steel frame will not twist or bend in use. An additional top clamping screw keeps heavier multispeed cases from rotating in the fixture. Clamping screws are hardened tool steel with steel adjusting knobs, and the top clamping screws have hardened steel swivel pads to prevent damage to aluminum cases. The finish is machine blue smooth satin powder coat. 100% made in the USA.

Heavy duty fabricated steel frame will that will not twist or bend when in use, additional top clamping screw prevents transmission case from rotating with in the fixture due to the heavier weight of modern multispeed transmissions.
