Shift correction package for Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep A500 (42RE/44RE), A518 (46RE/46RH) and A618 (47RH/47RE) transmissions. The K500-618 services all A500 through A618 hydraulic and electronic units through 1998, in regular duty, heavy duty, gas and diesel applications.

How it works

A rapid fill manual valve allows normal converter drainage with the engine off but instant fill in park when the engine is started. A special lip seal is supplied for the A518 and A618 direct drum for better durability and sealing.

The kit deals with premature band failure, inadequate line rise, slow engagements and premature clutch failure, lowers the 2-3 shift MPH, provides full-time lube and improves overall performance.
