Stage-1 (red) friction kit for the Ford C4 and C5 automatic transmission, 1964-1986, assembled from Raybestos plates. It uses the same plate line-up as Raybestos module RCPS-08, and the contents list below is exactly what is in the box. In some stock C4 High/Reverse packs it adds an extra friction.

About Stage-1 frictions

Stage-1 (red) performance frictions sit between stock tan or high energy plates and the Gen2 Blue Plate Special racing material. They hold more torque and handle more heat than stock plates, for performance builds and heavy towing. Made in USA.
