Check before ordering: many transfer cases changed parts by year, drive (2WD/4WD) and version. Confirm your unit by its ID tag. Ford ID tag on the case gives the Ford assembly number. Splits that change parts: (1) Chain - 1996 to April-1998 BW4406 uses a 1.25in round-pin chain (HV-052, Ford F65Z-7A029-AA); May-1998 to 2008 F-150/F-250LD uses a 1.0in round-pin chain; Torque-On-Demand units use a 1.25in ROCKER-joint chain (HV-053, F75Z-7A029-AA) - build date on the tag decides; customer should measure the old chain width.
