LubeGard Bio-Tap drilling and tapping fluid with LXE Technology. This biodegradable, water-washable tapping oil is used for tapping holes and threading rods, and washes off the machined part with water. It is a non-chlorinated, non-petroleum formula that does not promote surface corrosion on machined parts.

About this fluid
It is formulated for high-temperature work that needs extreme-pressure (EP) and anti-wear protection, and for metalworking where mist and worker allergy reduction are wanted, such as fabricating, turning, milling, sawing, broaching and tapping.
It reduces friction and galling and seizing for longer tool life, has a very low coefficient of friction, and contains a biodegradable anti-misting additive. It is 100% biodegradable, aquatically non-toxic, derived from renewable resources, non-irritating, non-flammable and free of obnoxious fumes. It contains no chlorine, phenols or toxic metals, replaces solvent degreasing and high-VOC solvents, and can be extended with water.
