TransGo SK340 (340 SHIFT KIT® Valve Body Repair Kit) for 1985 and newer Toyota, Lexus, Isuzu, Mitsubishi, Hyundai, Kia and Jeep vehicles with the A340, A341, A343 or AW4 series automatic transmission. It fixes rough shifts when cold, soft shifts, lazy kickdown, TCC slip and overheating.

Why it fails
The first cause is a worn TCC relay boost valve and bushing, which leads to lock-up control and overheating complaints. The other shift complaints need recalibration of the accumulator springs, the pressure regulator spring and the orifices in the valve body separator plate.
The kit's drop-in USA-made hardened steel TCC relay boost valve and bushing restores hydraulic circuit integrity for type two, three and four valve bodies, and replaces the soft aluminum OEM assembly that is prone to wear. The kit also has the parts to recalibrate the accumulators, separator plate feed orifices and pressure regulation.
Corrects, prevents or reduces: rough shifts when cold, soft shifts, lazy kickdown, TCC slip, and overheating on type two, three and four valve bodies due to wear at the lock-up relay valve.

Notes
As for the other shift complains, they require recalibration of the accumulator springs, pressure regulator spring as well as the orifices in the valve body separator plate.
The kit includes a drop-in USA-made hardened steel TCC relay boost valve and bushing that will restore the hydraulic circuit integrity for type two, three and four valve bodies except some Lexus models.
