A high performance 2-piece input shaft kit for Ford's AOD automatic transmission, covering 1980-on model years, from TransGo. It pairs a hardened input shaft with a high-strength 300M steel stub shaft and works with either a cast iron or a stamped steel drum, made in the USA under part number AOD-SHAFT-KIT.

It allows a C6 torque converter to be run in an AOD transmission and works with high-stall or stock C6 converters, and it includes converter-assembled height specs. It is intended to correct or reduce lugging in third and fourth gear and coast-down chug.
