TransGo 960-VB-PLGS end plug kit for 2003 and newer Toyota and Lexus vehicles with the A760, A761, A960 or AB60 series automatic transmission (A760-761E/H, A960E, AB60E/F). It fixes soft, flaring or slipping shifts, low line pressure, delayed reverse engagement and solenoid performance codes P0751, P0756, P0761 and P0766.

Why it fails
These codes set when the control module commands a gear change and the expected RPM range for that gear does not occur. They are solenoid performance codes, not electrical circuit faults. A leaking end plug loses solenoid output signal oil, which prevents the solenoid response, so the codes are often set by leaking end plugs in the valve body or by mechanically defective solenoids.
The dual O-ring TransGo bore plug improves on the OEM design and stops the leak. It has a threaded hole on the outboard side, and the included bolt lets you push the plug deep into the bore so the keeper goes in without cutting the O-rings. New steel end plugs replace the soft aluminum OE end plugs that wear out over time.
Corrects, prevents or reduces: solenoid performance codes P0751, P0756, P0761 and P0766, flared shifts, soft or slipping shifts, bump or harsh shifts, delayed reverse engagement and low line pressure.
