TransGo SKA750-WTA (A750 SHIFT KIT® Valve Body Repair Kit) with tools, for 2003 and newer Toyota and Lexus vehicles with the A750, A760, A761, A960 or AB60 series automatic transmission: A750E/F (5 SPD), A760-761E/H, A960E and AB60E/F (6 SPD). It fixes shuttle shifts, bind-up or flare on the 2-3 shift, slips with throttle in 3rd and/or 4th gear, solenoid and TCC performance codes, and rough kickdown at highway speeds from slow TCC release.

Why it fails
TCC complaints start with a worn TCC relay valve bore. With excessive wear, the computer can no longer control lock-up apply slippage and release rate. The TCC control valve and bushing also wear and cause lock-up control complaints.
The other area is a worn solenoid modulator valve bore. Like an AFL valve or solenoid pressure regulator valve, it limits the pressure going to the solenoids, and its spring is calibrated so feed pressure never exceeds a set PSI, whatever main line pressure is. If feed pressure is too high or too low, solenoid output follows, causing shift quality complaints, solenoid performance and gear ratio codes, and low or high main line pressure.
The kit's oversized USA-made hardened steel TCC relay valve and bushing restore hydraulic circuit integrity, and the included reusable tools oversize the TCC relay valve bore. The redesigned drop-in solenoid modulator valve and bushing restore function in the existing worn bore with no tooling, and the drop-in hardened steel TCC control boost valve and bushing need no special tooling either. The refill kit without tools is A750-NTA.
Corrects, prevents or reduces: shuttle, bind-up or flare on the 2-3 shift, slips with throttle in 3rd and/or 4th gear, rough kickdown, and codes P0746, P0751, P0756, P0771, P0776, P0894, P2714 and P2757.

Notes
When the TCC relay valve bore has excessive wear, the computer can no longer control the apply slippage and the release rate of the lock-up as it is supposed to.
On the other hand, the new redesigned drop-in solenoid modulator valve system does not require any tooling.
Similarly, the new drop-in hardened steel TCC control boost valve and bushing does not require any special tooling either.
