Construction
The band is made of Kevlar fibers with solids and resins that improve band performance, and suits heavy duty, towing and high performance rebuilds. Heat-treated anchors add mechanical strength, and the special Kevlar fiber blend has a higher friction coefficient. Raybestos lists resistance to extreme heat (up to 700°F), increased durability, higher holding capacity and stability in high-energy conditions.
