The New Quick Release Intermediate Servo Cover Kit for Dodge/Jeep A518/A618/48RE series transmissions, and specifically for use with the K080-MAG Super Servo in transmission pushing over 500 horsepower. Used for quicker release of the 1-2 intermediate servo on the 2-3 shift to alleviate bind up. When main line pressures and clutch clearances are modified for performance, overlap can be critical causing bind-up on the 2-3 shifts, in especially high horsepower tuned units. The new servo cover and spring kit from Fairbanks Performance is now available to help deter bind up and shorten the band release timing. Aids in dialing-in front band adjustments for better shift feel tuning.
To be used in conjuction with the K080 or K080-MAG. Will work on any oversized intermediate servo when too much overlap occurs on the 2-3 upshifts and 3-2 downshifts.
