TransGo TF-TV throttle valve repair kit for all TF overdrive transmissions, 1988-on. It fixes a worn throttle valve bore in high mileage 1988 to 2007 Dodge, Ram and Jeep small case units (A500, 40RH, 42RH, 40RE, 42RE, 44RE) and big case units (A518, 46RH, 46RE, A618, 47RH, 47RE, 48RE).

How it works
The throttle valve (TV) sends TV pressure to the boost valve according to the position of the TV cable/lever or TTVA motor. That signal regulates line pressure to match vehicle load. If line pressure is too low, the clutch elements and the TCC clutch lack clamping force, and they slip and burn.
The drop-in USA-made hardened steel TV valve has a re-positioned longer outboard land, so it fixes valve bodies with the common wear where the outboard land rides, even with substantial bore wear.
Corrects, prevents or reduces soft shifts and burnt friction elements, lazy or erratic pressure rise, and TCC slip.
