Superior STL-8L90 Shudder~Solution valve body upgrade kit for GM 8L45 and 8L90 transmissions. It contains the parts needed to correct TCC shudder and chatter, and in most cases it can be installed from the bottom pan without removing the transmission.

How it works
The kit uses a Flow~Corrected, recalibrated Steady~Stream circuit and a recalibrated TCC lock/release system (patent pending). It gives shorter TCC apply and release cycles, close to an on/off apply feel, extends converter life, reduces heat, and increases TCC holding capacity by correcting the root cause of TCC shudder.
It comes with a Drop~in and GO TCC limit valve, a PR balance valve and sleeve, and an anti-ballooning relief valve (patent pending) to prevent converter ballooning.
It can go into vehicles that start to chatter at low mileage, where the converter has not been badly damaged. If the converter is still intact internally, Superior recommends trying the kit 1st; it stopped lockup clutch vibration in all their test units.
