TransGo oversize S4 regulator valve for the late 2-land S4 valve in GM 8L45 and 8L90 transmissions, 2018-up. It repairs significant wear at the S4 regulator valve position.

Why it fails
When GM changed the S4 regulator valve in the 8L45 and 8L90, the updated 2-land design and computer command strategy caused significant wear, even at low mileage.
TransGo redesigned the 2-land S4 valve as an oversize hardened steel valve. The land on the spring side is longer so it rides in an unworn part of the bore, restoring the hydraulic integrity of the circuit, and a PTFE ring seals the signal oil side for longevity.
Corrects, prevents or reduces slip or harsh 1-2 or 1-3 shifts and coast downshift clunks.
