Superior STL025 adjustable Sure-Cool system for ZF8HP70 and ZF8HP75 transmissions. It replaces the often damaged pellet-type thermal bypass valve and is recommended during a rebuild or transmission service as preventive maintenance.

Settings and benefits
The system has three user-selectable settings: full-time cooler flow for maximum cooling, a 25% bypass mix for winter and cold climate operation, and full heater bypass for a quick warm-up to reset adapts. The setting is controlled externally, and the cooling system does not have to be opened, so there is no block-off plate, gasket, coolant drain, refill or bleed. Installation takes about 30 mins.
It gives immediate cooler fill and an accurate fluid level check without a warm-up cycle, lower average operating temperatures, reduced risk of planetary damage, longer ATF life and increased leak protection.
