Product Description

The forward sprag is the one-way clutch in the forward clutch assembly of GM's 700R4, 4L60E, 4L65E and 4L70E automatic transmissions. It is a heavy-duty 29-element design with a dual cage, built as an aftermarket upgrade over the stock sprag.

Manufactured by BorgWarner (manufacturer number A74658B, also cross-referenced as 29236AM), it replaces the earlier 28-element design and raises torque capacity in all forward gears over the original sprag.
