Product Description
Fits: GEN2 6T30 / 6T40 / 6T45 / 6T50 · 2013 and newer
TransGo GEN2 SHIFT KIT valve body repair kit for 2013 and newer GM vehicles with GEN2 6T30, 6T40, 6T45 and 6T50 automatic transmissions. It targets soft or flared shifts, burned friction plates, TCC slip and solenoid and gear ratio codes caused by valve body wear.

Why they fail
Most of these complaints come from wear at the actuator feed limit (AFL) valve. Its spring is calibrated to keep solenoid feed pressure below a set PSI no matter what line pressure is, so the solenoids are not fed more fluid than they can regulate and maximum line pressure stays limited. When feed pressure is too high or too low, solenoid output follows, causing shift quality complaints, codes and low or high line pressure.
Wear at the spring end of the pressure regulator valve, the EPC boost area, causes loss of EPC boost signal oil. The result is lazy boost response, low line pressure, clutch slippage and solenoid performance and gear ratio codes. The TCC regulator valve bore also wears, causing TCC slip and codes.
The kit's oversize AFL valve is fitted after reaming the bore with the AFL-G2-TK tool kit, a universal kit that also serves many TransGo 6 and 8-speed kits. A drop-in hardened steel TCC regulator valve has repositioned, longer lands and a scarf-cut seal that seals in the original worn bore. A new PR valve with longer lands restores the pressure regulator system.
Corrects or reduces: erratic or hunting TCC, soft shifts or flare on shifts, burned friction plates and slow pressure boost response. Codes: P0741, P0751, P0752, P0776, P0777, P0796, P0797, P2714, P2715, P2723 and P2724.

Notes
REQUIRES AFL-G2-TK TOOL KIT
The oversize AFL valve included in this kit requires our tool-kit part # AFL-G2-TK to ream the bore.
