Rostra NL variable bleed solenoid (VBS) for EPC and shift control in Ford 6R100, 6R140 and '10-later 6R80 transmissions. It is a 5.5 ohm unit with a brown port, band no. 3, built to deliver OE performance with increased durability.

Design

Unlike the OE part, the Rostra design has no permanent magnet, for less drift over time, and it uses a stainless-steel internal seat instead of a plastic one.

Each solenoid is tested to meet four different pressure gates and multiple pressure targets so the vehicle adapts quickly. The datasheet gives the testing details.
