Rostra variable bleed solenoid (VBS) for EPC and shift control in Ford 6R100, 6R140 and '10-later 6R80 transmissions. This is the NH solenoid: 5.5 ohm, black port, band no. 2. It delivers OE performance with added durability.

How it differs from OE

Unlike the OE part, the Rostra design has no permanent magnet, so it drifts less over time, and it uses a stainless-steel internal seat instead of a plastic one. Each solenoid is tested to four different pressure gates and multiple pressure targets so the vehicle adapts quickly. Testing details are in the data sheet.
