TransGo stock OE-ratio replacement boost valve and bushing assembly for 2006-2018 GM and BMW vehicles with 6L45, 6L50, 6L80 and 6L90 automatic transmissions. It is a drop-in replacement for the wear-prone OEM assembly, with no reaming or tooling, and restores line pressure boost to OE specifications.

Why it fails
The line pressure boost valve and sleeve often wear, so the transmission loses line pressure boost under load. The computer sets line pressure rise from calculated load by varying pressure control solenoid current, which varies EPC solenoid output. That output acts on the boost valve, which acts on the pressure regulator valve to raise line pressure.
Line pressure has to rise enough to give clamping force under all loads, preventing slip and keeping shift quality. A compromised boost valve causes soft shifts, flare shifts, burnt frictions and a burnt lockup clutch, often with gear ratio, shift and solenoid performance codes.
Corrects or reduces: insufficient line rise, soft, slipping or flaring shifts, burned friction material and TCC slip. Codes: P0729, P0731, P0732, P0733, P0734, P0735, P0736, P0961, P0965, P0969 and P0741.

Notes
As a result, the transmission will not have the required main line pressure boost under load.
Adequate main line pressure rise is required to provide enough clamping force under all load conditions to prevent slipping, as well as to achieve proper shift quality.
Our drop in valve requires no reaming or tooling.
