Pressure switch repair kit for the TEHCM (transmission electro-hydraulic control module) in GM 6L45, 6L50, 6L80 and 6L90 and GEN1 (2007-2012) 6T70 and 6T75 transmissions. It replaces damaged plastic diaphragms in the pressure switch manifold. Installing Sonnax kit 124740-30K restores normal switch operation, clears the codes and restores shift performance in all ranges.

Why it fails
These GM 6-speed transmissions often set trouble codes from failed fluid pressure switches inside the TEHCM. The codes may come with TCC apply problems or shift faults such as slipping, flares, harsh engagement and bind-ups.
Over time the laminated parts of the pressure switches can breach and stop the switches working. If more than one switch fails, failsafe mode can be triggered.
Notes
Since switches cannot be obtained through OE channels, replacement of the TEHCM was the only previous remedy available.
It is no longer necessary to replace the expensive TEHCM assembly to rectify this concern.
