TransGo SK6F35-G2 (6F35-G2 SHIFT KIT® Valve Body Repair Kit) for 2012 and newer Ford, Lincoln, Mercury and Mazda vehicles with the GEN2 6F35 automatic transmission. It fixes 2-3 cut loose, no reverse, TCC slip, and various gear ratio and solenoid performance codes.

Why it fails
These complaints often come from wear at the solenoid pressure regulator valve bore. The solenoid regulator valve limits the pressure going to the solenoids. Its spring is calibrated so solenoid feed pressure never exceeds a set PSI, whatever main line pressure is, so the solenoids are not fed more fluid than they can regulate. If feed pressure is too high or too low, solenoid output follows, causing shift quality complaints, codes, and low or high main line pressure.
The kit's oversized solenoid pressure regulator valve is installed by reaming the bore with the TransGo AFL-G2-TK tool kit. That universal tool kit works for all GEN2 6F35, 6T30, 6T40, 6T45, 6T50, 6T70, 6T75 and 6T80 transmissions.
For TCC slip and related codes, a drop-in hardened steel TCC regulator valve with re-positioned longer lands carries a scarf cut sealing ring that seals in the original worn bore, with no reaming. A drop-in two-piece PR valve reduces sticking, restores pressure regulator function, and will not delaminate and wear the bore like the OE coated valves.
The D2 checkball often blows through the separator plate, which ruins the plate and causes no reverse and 2-3 cut loose. The kit includes an improved replacement separator plate and gaskets.
Corrects, prevents or reduces: 2-3 cut loose, no reverse, erratic or hunting TCC, and codes P0729, P0731, P0732, P0733, P0734, P0735, P0741 and P1744.
