TransGo RFE-7B-HP High Pressure Tuneless™ Reprogramming Kit™ for 45RFE, 545RFE, 65RFE, 66RFE and 68RFE transmissions with the 7-check ball valve body, 1999-2010. It corrects burnt OD frictions from increased engine horsepower, rough lock-up, TCC slide bang, TCC slip codes, drain-back, limp-in mode, and low line pressure with code P0868.
The matching kit for the 5-checkball valve body is RFE-5B-HP.

Notes and optional upgrade
High mileage vehicles sometimes come in with codes P0841, P0871, P0988, P1775 and P1776 due to wear at the solenoid switch valve bore in the valve body. TransGo solenoid switch valve kits address that bore wear.
The TransGo overdrive pressure plate #RFE-PP-ODHP is hot-forged 1045 steel, fully CNC machined, and adds capacity to the overdrive clutch pack in all models. It is a direct fit for the OEM drum. With it you can add two overdrive frictions in a single sided setup or one in a double sided setup. A single sided setup like the 68RFE gains a 15% increase in surface area, and a double sided setup like the 545RFE gains 25%.
