TransGo Shift Kit valve body repair kit for 2007 and newer Chrysler, Dodge, Ram and Volkswagen front-wheel-drive vehicles with the 62TE. It targets TCC slip or shudder with P0740, overheating, converter drain-back, delayed forward or reverse cold or hot, and 6-5 and 3-2 coast downshift clunks.

How it works
TCC slip or shudder with P0740, overheating, delayed forward and reverse engagement and converter drain-back come from wear in the pressure regulator and TCC regulator valve bores. The kit's USA-made drop-in hardened steel PR and TC regulator valves have longer lands that ride in previously unused, unworn areas of the bore, restoring hydraulic integrity and spreading the load for longer bore life, with no reaming or machining.
The 6-5 coast clunk comes from a malfunctioning underdrive clutch inner piston seal; the kit supplies a specially designed Tuff Seal and expander wire. Delayed engagement and the 3-2 coast clunk come with age, when the low-reverse piston housing gasket shrinks and begins to leak; TransGo's replacement gasket is made from a non-shrinking material. Seals and expanders for the accumulators are included as well.
The kit also addresses diminished cooler flow and lube pressure.
